鎌倉彫資料館は1977年に開設、2016年に展示品の安全保管と展示空間の改善を目的に、現在の鎌倉彫会館3階(鎌倉市小町2-15-13)に移設されました。
The Kamakurabori Museum was established in 1977, and for keeping security and improving an exhibition environment and space, moved to the current place in the 3rd Floor of the Kamakurabori Hall at 2-15-13, Komachi, Kamakura City in 2016.
入口のそばに展示された、鎌倉彫の祖の一つ後藤家28代目、後藤俊太郎作の飾り額「椿」(1988年作)

The inside of the gate, there is the ornamental Kamakurabori Wood Carving Artwork named "Tubaki (Camellia)" made by Goto Shuntaro in 1988, known as the 28th patriarch of the the Goto family, that is one of originators of the Kamakurabori.
